Following in the foot steps of the very popular 80’s Metal Fanzine Post, we bring you this special feature with a hand-picked gallery of super-rare Metal Fanzine Adverts (or advertisements if you are in the U.S.) and some cool fanzine logos. The actual photo GALLERY is near the end of the post.
Most of these are over 20 years old! These ads and flyers were sent out all over the Metal world in correspondence/letters and to be placed inside other music fanzines to further promote the underground music scene. This was truly a dedicated “tight-knit” group of people too, which included: bands, fanzine owners, radio stations, promoters, artists, distributors, photographers and last-but-not-least, the Metal Fans!
